Experimental visuals for poet and lyricist Jamie Thrasivoulou
Andrew’s collaboration with writer, poet, and lyricist Jamie Thrasivoulou began in the summer of 2019, born from a mutual respect for each other’s work and love of Derby County Football Club.
Their first project together, Kisses the Wind, used a single promotional photograph of Jamie, cut up into a striking collage where his mouth and features were synced to his recorded vocals. To deepen the atmosphere, Andrew filmed everyday streets around Derby on an iPhone, reversing and treating the footage to create a haunting backdrop for the animated face.
Following this experiment, Andrew continued to work with Jamie on new creative ventures, including directing and producing two music videos for his band Kez. The projects combined raw, lo-fi energy with bold visual experimentation, reflecting both Jamie’s uncompromising lyricism and the band’s distinctive sound.

Jamie Thrasivoulou - Kisses the Wind [ 2021 ]
Andrew had been closely following the output of talented writer, poet and lyricist Jamie Thrasivoulou and in the summer of 2019 suggested a collaboration. The following summer, Jamie suggested 'Kisses the Wind', Andrew agreed and using a solitary promotional photo of Jamie, created a cut-up collage of Jamie's face with his mouth and facial features linked to react to the vocals in the audio. Footage was then recorded on an iPhone of various streets around Derby, which was then reversed and treated to act as a background to the synced face of Jamie.
