↓ Nigel Farage x Cameo — The Guardian

↓ Details

A Guardian investigation revealed that Nigel Farage's paid-for Cameo videos had been used to voice support for a neo-Nazi event and repeat far-right slogans — a story that ran straight to the top of the news agenda. Warwicka made the lead motion-graphics film that carried it: the piece built to turn a dense, fast-moving exposé into something clear, watchable, and hard to look away from.

The brief was pace and clarity under pressure. Working from the reporting, the footage and the data, Warwicka art-directed and animated the whole thing end to end — cutting the Cameo clips, broadcast news and YouGov polling into a single driving sequence, and setting the typography and motion graphics so the evidence leads and the viewer never loses the thread. Built in Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects, and designed to hold up on the Guardian's site and across social.
