↓ "Most Amazing Moments" DVD Interface — National Geographic

1 August 2005

↓ Details

Designed on-site at National Geographic Channel's Shepherd's Bush studios in the summer of 2005, this was the on-disc interface for "Most Amazing Moments," a 90-minute special counting down the channel's most dramatic filmed events.

The design leads with the Nat Geo yellow rectangle framed over full-bleed photography — penguins, the peaks of Patagonia, giraffes at dusk — carrying the brandmark through a sequence of splash screens into the title card, main menu and an episode-selection carousel. Typography and colour follow the channel's house style: the yellow brand accent against black, set in the network's bold sans-serif, with clear "Watch Episode" prompts driving playback.
