↓ Episode Thumbnail System — Delingpod

A repeatable thumbnail system for James Delingpole's 'delingpod' podcast — built to carry one strong identity across a long run of episodes while still giving every guest their own moment.
The backdrop is fixed: the recurring cast of corrupt establishment figures the show takes aim at — plus fake pandas, drones, and bat-chomping, bird-slicing eco-crucifixes (wind turbines) — all held in mono so nothing competes with the two faces in front. James sits on one side, the guest on the other, with the delingpod logotype and site address locked in the same place every time.
The variable is colour. Each episode gets a single accent (from his brand palette) that carries the guest's name, so the thumbnails read as a set when you see them together but never quite repeat. It's a small move that does a lot of work: the grid stays coherent, and each new upload still feels distinct.
The point of the template is speed. Once the framework is fixed, a new episode is a quick swap — guest cut-out, name, accent colour — so turnaround stays fast without the look drifting.
